  • Aukland - Bay of Islands

    Vormittags fahren Sie über Whangarei nach Waitangi. Nachmittags steht ein Schiffsausflug durch das Insellabyrinth der Bay of Islands auf dem Progamm. Am Cape Brett, wo man zum berühmten „Hole in the Rocks“ gelangt, kann man mit viel Glück vom Schiff aus Delfine und manchmal sogar Orcas beobachten. Danach folgt die Rückfahrt nach Pahia. 2 Übernachtungen: Scenic Hotel Bay of Islands. (F)

  • Bay of Islands

    Dieser Tag steht Ihnen zur freien Verfügung. Optional besteht die Gelegenheit, einen ganztägigen Busausflug zur beeindruckenden Nordspitze Neuseelands, dem Cape Reinga (ca. NZD 140,-), zu unternehmen. Ein Teil der Strecke führt entlang des berühmten „Ninety Mile Beach“. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch der fakultative Ausflug in einem Maori-Kanu zu den Haruru Fällen mit anschließendem Besuch eines traditionellen Maori-Dorfes. Dies ist ein besonders authentisches Neuseelanderlebnis (ca. NZD 140,-). (F)

  • Bay of Islands - Waipoua Wald - Aukland

    Von der Bay of Islands fahren Sie zur traumhaften Bucht von Hokianga. Weiter geht es in den Waipoua Kauriwald, in dem typische Farne und bis zu 2.000 Jahre alte Kauribäume zu finden sind. Über Dargaville geht es nach Matakohe, wo sie das historische Otamatea Pionier- und Kaurimuseum besuchen. Anschließend Rückfahrt nach Auckland. Übernachtung: Crowne Plaza Auckland. (F)

  • Aukland - Coromandel Halbinsel

    Machen Sie eine Stadtrundfahrt durch Auckland, bei der Sie alle Sehenswürdigkeiten kennenlernen. Nachmittags geht es weiter zur Coromandel Halbinsel, die bekannt ist für ihre üppigen Farnbaum-Wälder. Hier wird der Hot Water Beach besucht. Sie verbringen die Nacht an der landschaftlich reizvollen Ostküste. Übernachtung: Pacific Harbour Motor Lodge. (F)

  • Coromandel Halbinsel - Rotorura

    Über Waihi und Tauranga geht es nach Mount Maunganui, ein Badeort an der Bay of Plenty. Nachmittags kommen Sie in Rotorua, dem Thermalzentrum Neuseelands und Zentrum der Maorikultur, an. Bei einem Besuch des Thermalgebietes von Te Puia können Sie kochende Schlammtümpel und Geysire sehen. Übernachtung: Sudima Hotel Rotorua.
